The UIC Rail Academy is delighted to be launching new training sessions in 2026, dedicated to strengthening Human and Organisational Factors (HOF) and Safety Culture within the railway sector.
Taking place over two days and available in both French and English, these programmes are designed for railway professionals seeking to enhance safety management.
Course 1 – Human and Organisational Factors: A pillar for safety
The French session will take place at UIC, in Paris, from Monday 15 June (13:30) to Wednesday 17 June (12:00)
The English session will take place at UIC, in Paris, from Monday 21 September (13:30) to Wednesday 23 September (12:00)
Training objectives for Course 1:
- Identify and understand the key topics covered by Human and Organisational Factors in safety management
- Acquire the necessary skills to implement Human and Organisational Factors within your company
- Develop leadership skills in managing safety-relevant Human and Organisational Factors
Course 2 – Creating a successful Safety Culture in a railway organisation
The French session will take place at UIC, in Paris, from Wednesday 17 June (13:30) to Friday 19 June (12:00)
The English session will take place at UIC, in Paris, from Wednesday 23 September (13:30) to Friday 25 September (12:00)
Training objectives for Course 2:
- Understand the importance of a safety culture for an organisation
- Identify and understand the attributes of a safety culture
- Learn how to develop a safety culture in an organisation
Both courses are aimed at executives, managers, engineers, safety professionals, those with a cross-functional role, and operational managers across the railway sector.
