The East India Club has arranged for similar clubs near the meeting venue to offer accommodation at reasonable rates in comparison with local hotels for one or more of the nights 13th, 14th and 15th January. These clubs and the contact details are listed below. Bookings are on a first come first served based. If you do want to avail yourself of this accommodation you should book it by the 20th December as after that the administrative staff will be on holiday until the New Year.

The room rates vary between clubs and within each club depending on size and amenities, so this briefing has not attempted to give prices.

In addition, please note that under the Terms and Conditions of the clubs making this offer the following applies: https://www.eastindiaclub.co.uk/club-rules/. Although these rules are that of the East India Club in fact all the clubs have the same standards.

The use of mobile telephones is strictly prohibited within public rooms and all public areas of the Clubhouse. Gentlemen should wear business attire or a jacket, including collar and tie, with tailored trousers. Ladies should dress in smart separates, elegant dress or business attire. Trousers should be tailored. Formal boots up to calf length in keeping with a smart outfit are acceptable.

If you are not willing to abide with these rules, please book a hotel but it is very important as the member that has arranged for this accommodation has vouched for the behavior of the guests. Disregard the fact that this member may not be staying in the club you chose as obviously he cannot stay in all 4. This arrangement is special so please respect it.
