Education, Innovation and Research


The aim of the Education, Innovation & Research working group is to share and to carry out global and regional research which bring innovation and have practical application to the industry within the railway sector.

UIC Coordinator: Artur Fojud

Meetings:
3 regular working meetings per year (at least 1 in presence)
Regular actions in between depending on the workload.

Objectives

Partnering and collaborating with educational institutions, universities and industry centres of excellence for innovation and excellence, the Education, Innovation & Research working group holds three meetings per year and participates actively in the WCRT congress to:

  • to provide in-depth perspectives on key training topics to facilitate leaders in driving business success and increasing organisational effectiveness;
  • to promote excellence and innovation in teaching, learning and training in rail;
  • to identify new challenges for training and training technologies.
